Bibi Hanum’s Participation at the International Business Festival in Liverpool
Bibi Hanum had the opportunity to attend the SheTrades Global International Business Festival from June 26-29, 2018 with the support of International Trade Center (ITC). See the photo gallery here.
SheTrades Global was the flagship event on women in the economy during the International Business Festival. Over 500 women-owned businesses from across the world participated in the event in search of new trade and investment opportunities. SheTrades Global also facilitated business to business meetings, keynote speeches from thought leaders, high level panels, an investment challenge and workshops led by industry specialists.
The event was opened by the Executive Director of International Trade Center Ms. Arancha Gonzalez.
One of the featured keynote speakers during the festival was Dame Stephanie Shirley, Founder of FI Group which was followed by book signing session of her book entitled Let It Go. The Festival also featured keynote conversations with H.E. Ms. Rula Ghani, First Lady of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mentoring Sessions with the representatives of Sidley Austin, UPS and Mr. Liam Freeman, Vogue International.
Textile & Garment Sector panel discussions were led by Ms. Tara Mulhare, Afrodesiac Worldwide’s CEO Ms. Chiedza Makonnen, Designer Ms. Anyango Mpenga and Bibi Hanum’s Muhayo Alieva.
