It was also very exciting to meet the world famous designer / the creator of DKNY clothing brand Donna Karan and meet celebrities like Ali McGraw.

The market lasted for three fully packed with people days. As the CEO for the International Folk Art Market Jeff Snell stated with record number of sales 211,000 lives globally were impacted with more that 1,774 amazing volunteers  working during the market. In keeping with the market’s CEO’s statement “What a remarkable accomplishment for any city in the world — let alone our modest-size City Different in the enchanting desert Southwest — to serve as home to art markets with international draw. And what a blessing that hundreds of millions of dollars have flowed into Santa Fe and across the state through marketgoers and buyers of the handmade, eager for a lifetime memory shaped by a market experience.”
