This was another successful year for Bibi Hanum to participate in International Folk Art Market | Collection Dallas. The show as usual took place in Dallas Market Center (DMC) as part of Dallas Total Home & Gift Market. Bibi Hanum was one of the 24 artists who came from different parts of the world to showcase their arts and crafts to the wholesale customers.
The exhibit was held in the World Trade Center Atrium where buyers could get acquainted with the artist unique stories behind the products. Bibi Hanum’s collection that was presented to Dallas customers included long embroidered kaftans, robes and contemporary lines that were made of hand-woven silk ikat fabrics.
The trade show was yet another success with having new additions to Bibi Hanum’s growing clientele across the globe. We hope DMC will continue to host such artists like Bibi Hanum as it fosters economic and cultural sustainability and creates intercultural opportunities that unites the people of the globe. The wholesale connections that we make in Dallas create lasting economic impact for the women who serve at Bibi Hanum.
